Cherry Almond Crumb Bars

Cherry Almond Crumb Bars are a delicious treat that have a buttery crumb crust and taste like a mix of tart cherries and nutty almonds. They're great as a snack, a dessert, or even a sweet addition to brunches and other events.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 can 21 ounces cherry pie filling

Instructions:

Warm the oven up to 175F 350C

A 8x8-inch baking pan should be greased

Add flour, sugar, and salt to a bowl and mix them together

Add butter and mix until the mixture looks like big crumbs

Put in the almonds

Put half of the crumb mixture in the pan's bottom after it's been ready

Put the cherry pie filling on top of the crust

Cover the filling with the rest of the crumb mixture

After the oven is hot, bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the top is lightly browned

Let it cool down before you cut it into bars
