Slow Cooked Triple Cheddar Mac and Cheese

Ingredients:
- 16 oz elbow macaroni
- 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 cups shredded white cheddar cheese
- 2 cups shredded mild cheddar cheese
- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente, then drain
In a large bowl, mix together the shredded sharp cheddar, white cheddar, and mild cheddar cheeses
In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter and flour until smooth to make a roux
Transfer the cooked macaroni to the slow cooker, then pour in the milk, heavy cream, and roux
Stir well to combine
Add the mixed shredded cheeses, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker
Stir until everything is evenly distributed
Cover and cook on low heat for 3-4 hours, stirring occasionally, until the cheese is melted and the mixture is creamy
