Ingredients:

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup diced apples
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions:

Turn the oven on to 350 degrees Fahrenheit 175 degrees Celsius and line a baking sheet with parchment paper

Almond flour, coconut flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves should all be combined in a big mixing bowl

Combine the applesauce, egg, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and vanilla extract in a different bowl

Mixing until a dough forms, pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients

After the walnuts and diced apples are well mixed throughout the dough, fold them in

Using a spoon, scoop out dough portions the size of cookies and arrange them on the baking sheet that has been prepared, leaving space between them

Using your fingers or the back of a spoon, gently press each cookie down

Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown, in a preheated oven

After taking the cookies out of the oven, allow them to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to finish cooling
